Conference Description:

The 7th Wood and Biofibre International Conference 2025 (WOBIC 2025), organized by the Institute of Tropical Forestry and Forest Products (INTROP), Universiti Putra Malaysia, will be held from 7–9 October 2025 in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. This marks the first time the conference will take place outside Malaysia, through a strategic collaboration with Institut Pertanian STIPER (INSTIPER), Indonesia, under the Sustainable Agricultural Landscapes in Southeast Asia (SALSA) partnership platform.

This biennial event serves as a global platform for sharing knowledge, showcasing research, and exploring innovations in the field of wood and biofibre, which hold significant value and benefits for humankind. For over a decade, WOBIC has connected experts from research, industry, and policy, offering insights into technologies, frameworks, and strategies that strengthen the wood and biofibre research and development ecosystem. The program features keynote speeches, workshops, and networking sessions to foster cross-sector partnerships.
