Wide-bandgap (WBG) semiconductor materials—including silicon carbide (SiC), gallium nitride (GaN), gallium oxide (Ga?O?), aluminum nitride (AlN), and diamond—are driving transformative advancements in power electronics, optoelectronics, and beyond. These materials are now entering a critical stage of industrialization, with expanding applications in electric vehicles, renewable energy, 5G communications, and high-voltage systems.

The Asia-Pacific Conference on Silicon Carbide and Related Materials (APCSCRM) has been a key international platform for the WBG community since its launch in Beijing in 2018. Over the past five editions, APCSCRM has attracted nearly 4,000 participants from over a dozen countries and regions, including leading companies, top research institutions, and academia. It has featured more than 300 technical presentations and the participation of 1,000+ companies, establishing itself as one of the most influential WBG-focused events in the Asia-Pacific region.
To promote the deep integration of wide-bandgap semiconductor technology innovation and industrial applications, the 6th Asia-Pacific Conference on Silicon Carbide and Related Materials (APCSCRM 2025) will be held in Zhengzhou, Henan Province, China, from November 25 to 27, 2025?under the theme “Wide Bandgap, Wider Future”.
